E-government & E-citizen
The Myanmar government could achieve much greater efficiency and effective public services if they utilized e-government and e-citizen platforms. As a late comer to this area, Myanmar has both advantage and disadvantage in implementation. Rural communities could overcome the problem of information asymmetry in doing business. For example, a SMS money transfer program adopted to Municipal and Utility billing would save millions of dollars outright.
